Features
Ingest / Add
Content can be added and ingested in a variety of ways, from professional video capture devices to desktop drag n' drop. The user can add metadata on ingest or edit it later. Automatically identifies and processes recognized file formats and arranges them into user defined libraries. Each library can be instructed to automatically transcode to multiple formats on ingest.
Organize
Users can find media through a variety of search mechanisms across all or selected libraries. The media can be viewed directly from within the web browser, added to media lists or organized into projects.
Edit
Any content can be booked out of the archive system if the user has sufficient access rights to that media. The media is downloaded or edited via LAN share. Other users cannot access the media while a user is editing the file. Once the user is finished editing the media it is booked in again. The system automatically versions the media and makes it accessible to the other users. A full permissions system allows the user to control the level of access at user, workgroup or public level to all media.
Repurpose
Any media contained within the system can be added to media lists for repurposing. A variety of media list types, playlists (any content type), schedule lists, interactive menu structures and Video EDL lists. These lists can then be published to an ITV station display, internet/WAP portels, professional TV broadcast systems or exported for use in 3rd party applications. |
